Blue Light also known as High Energy Visible Light (HEV) is a short wavelength that produces high amounts of energy ranging from 380-500 nanometers.

It is scientifically proven that Blue Light causes skin damage including hyperpigmentation, inflammation, photo-aging (skin wrinkling & sagging) and it induces oxidative stress and the weakening of skin surface.

Blue Light is able to penetrate deeper into the skin compared with UVA & UVB. Some studies suggest that Blue Light is also more active in inducing skin pigmentation than UVA.
